The River Mill Jaguars volleyball squad (Graham, NC), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the host The Burlington School Spartans (Burlington, NC)

With the win, The Burlington School improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC) to encounter the Spartans in a battle on Friday, September 6. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 0-1.

The Jaguars now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham Charter for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 10. River Mill will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-1.
