Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Muhlenberg Muhls (Laureldale, PA) and the host Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), saw Muhlenberg's soccer squad hold off Cocalico by a count of 1-0.

The Muhls (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Governor Mifflin (Shillington, PA). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Governor Mifflin was edged by Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Penn Manor Comets (Millersville, PA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 3. Cocalico will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 2-2 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA).
