Next, the Storm play the Norfolk Panthers (Norfolk, NE) in a A District challenge, on Monday, September 2. Elkhorn South will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Lincoln East (Lincoln, NE).

The Bearcats (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest (Grand Island, NE). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Northwest overcame Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE), 7-3, in a non-league challenge.
