The Westville Yellowjackets softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Sallisaw Black Diamonds to 8 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 3.
With the loss, Sallisaw moves to 1-8 on the season. The Black diamonds travel to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK) to confront the Pirates in a non-league battle on Friday, August 30. The Pirates come into the battle with a record of 11-4. Locust Grove lost 14-2 in their recent non-league battle against Miami (Miami, OK)
