Abilene Eagles (Abilene, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Abilene improves its record to 6-11 on the season. The Eagles travel to Martin (Arlington, TX) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 11-9. Martin won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX)

The Cougars now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dobie for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Pflugerville Connally will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-10.
