The Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) volleyball knocked off the host Damonte Ranch Mustangs (Reno, NV), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Dons now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Woodland Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. Acalanes will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bradshaw Christian (Sacramento, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Damonte Ranch drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Carson (Carson City, NV) to clash with the Senators in a 5A Northern bout on Tuesday, September 3. The Senators come into the bout with a record of 7-1. Carson won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV)
