Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), observed Andrada Polytechnic's volleyball team top San Miguel by a tally of 3-0.

The Mavericks (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Douglas (Douglas, AZ). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Douglas was beaten by Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vipers meet the Catalina Trojans (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 3. San Miguel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
