The Big Sandy Wildcats volleyball squad (Big Sandy, TX), was edged 3-2 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX)

With the win, Quitman improves its record to 8-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX) to encounter the Fighting Owls in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. The Fighting Owls go into the battle with a record of 14-5. Anderson-Shiro won 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX)

The Wildcats now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Timpson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 3. Big Sandy will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Gladewater (Gladewater, TX). The Bears record now stands at 3-7.
