In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Stockton Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Chase Kats.
The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Natoma (Natoma, KS). The Tigers go into the Northern Plains battle with a 0-0 record.
The Kats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thunder Ridge for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 3. Chase will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, KS). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-0.
