Texas High School Volleyball - Hanna Vela

Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hanna Golden Eagles (Brownsville, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Vela improves its record to 19-5 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Palmview (La Joya, TX) to face the Lobos in a non-league test on Friday, August 30. The Lobos go into the test with a record of 8-5. Palmview won 3-0 in their recent league test against Cigarroa (Laredo, TX)

The Golden Eagles now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harlingen South for a non-league test on Friday, August 30. Hanna will face a Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 7-9.
