In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Sweetwater Red Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hoover Cardinals.
The Red Devils (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against University City (San Diego, CA). The Centurions come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, University City beat Maranatha Christian (San Diego, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Hoover will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Morse (San Diego, CA).
