Next up, the Red Ants confront the Lopez Lobos (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 31. Progreso will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Lobos go into the game with a 14-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Idea Academy (Donna, TX).

The (3-10) will now prepare for their game against Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Lyford was dropped by IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
