Florida High School Volleyball - Merritt Island over Lake Nona

The Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) volleyball knocked off the host Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Olympia for a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. Merritt Island will clash with a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Lake Mary (Lake Mary, FL). The Titans record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Lake Nona drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Forest (Ocala, FL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, August 30. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Forest won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL)
