In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Mt. Hope Huskies volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rogers Vikings.

The Huskies (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders enter the Division 2 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Middletown was knocked off by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Vikings battle the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) in a Division 3 contest, on Wednesday, September 4. Rogers will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
