California High School Volleyball - New Roads over Southwestern Academy

August 30, 2024: San Marino, CA 91108

In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting New Roads Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southwestern Academy Sun.

The Jaguars (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Avalon (Avalon, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Avalon beat New Covenant Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sun meet the San Gabriel Mission Pioneers (San Gabriel, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. Southwestern Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA).
