The Yuba City Honkers volleyball squad (Yuba City, CA), dropped 3-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA)

With the win, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Vikings host Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to encounter the Thunder in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. The Thunder go into the battle with a record of 9-1.

The Honkers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Argonaut for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. Yuba City will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hughson (Hughson, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
