The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) and the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH), witnessed Archbishop Spalding's football squad knock off Archbishop Hoban by a tally of 58-28.

The Cavaliers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hun (Princeton, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Hun gained a win over Pennington (Pennington, NJ), 48-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Knights battle the King Crusaders (Detroit, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Archbishop Hoban will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Crusaders enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 32-7 non-league win over Whitmer (Toledo, OH).
