In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Coolidge Yellowjackets (Coolidge, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Methodist Children's Home will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 63-18 non-league win over Blum (Blum, TX).

The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Burkeville triumphed over O'Connell (Galveston, TX), 48-0, in a non-league test.
