The Central Rockets football squad scored 50 points and limited the host Edison Red Raiders to 12 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rockets now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Central will meet a Tornadoes squad coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Palmetto (Miami, FL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Edison drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Killian (Miami, FL) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-0. Killian won 44-6 in their recent non-league test against Dr. Krop (Miami, FL)
