Indiana High School Football - New Castle triumphant over Jay County

August 30, 2025: New Castle, IN 47362

Spectators at Saturday's non-league bout between the New Castle Trojans (New Castle, IN) and the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN), saw New Castle's football team wallop Jay County by a tally of 35-0.

The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Pendleton Heights (Pendleton, IN). The Arabians enter the Hoosier Heritage contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Pendleton Heights crushed Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN), 34-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Patriots confront the Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN) in a Allen County contest, on Friday, September 5. Jay County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 15-12 non-league loss to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN).
