Colorado High School Football - Trinidad crushed by Rye

August 30, 2025: Trinidad, CO 81082

The Rye Thunderbolts walloped the host Trinidad Miners football team by a score of 41-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Monte Vista Pirates (Monte Vista, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Rye will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Pirates go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO).

The Miners (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Raton (Raton, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Raton was overwhelmed by Lamar (Lamar, CO), 41-7, in a non-league test.
