The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Lyons Lions to 30 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Glenbard West for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Joliet Catholic will meet a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Lyons drops to 0-1 on the season. The Lions host Huntley (Huntley, IL) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Red Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
