Paramus Catholic Paladins (Paramus, NJ) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting St. Peter's Prep Marauders (Jersey City, NJ), 20-0 in a non-league match.
The Paladins (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The come into the non-league match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Pope John XXIII was beaten by DePaul Catholic (Wayne, NJ), 23-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Marauders confront the Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 6. St. Peter's Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
