The Granada Matadors topped the host Alameda Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Matadors face the California Grizzlies (San Ramon, CA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, August 30. Granada will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Grizzlies come into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA).

With the loss, Alameda drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Las Lomas (Walnut Creek, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 4. The Knights go into the game with a record of 0-1.
