California High School Flag Football - Grossmont falls to Carlsbad

August 30, 2025: El Cajon, CA 92021

The Carlsbad Lancers felled the host Grossmont Foothillers flag football squad by a count of 13-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lancers now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Classical Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Carlsbad will meet a Caimans squad coming off a 33-12 non-league win over Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA). The Caimans record now stands at 7-4.

The Foothillers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ramona (Ramona, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Ramona lost by Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA), 26-0, in a non-league challenge.
