The Chaparral Wolverines flag football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Cherokee Trail Cougars to 0 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to ThunderRidge for a 5A/4A Continental test on Tuesday, September 2. Chaparral will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 14-7 non-league win over Chatfield (Littleton, CO). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Cherokee Trail drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Aurora Central (Aurora, CO) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 0-2.
