The Blazer Tomcats soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Pikeville Panthers to 0 in the Tomcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tomcats now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Minford for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Blazer will play a Falcons squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Wheelersburg (Wheelersburg, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Pikeville moves to 0-4 on the year. The Panthers host Martin County (Inez, KY) to play the Cardinals in a District 57 game on Tuesday, September 9. The Cardinals come into the game with a record of 4-0.
