The Salem Quakers held off the visiting Southeast Pirates soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next, the Quakers clash with the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye game, on Wednesday, September 3. Salem will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Canfield (Canfield, OH).
