Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the visiting Angola Hornets (Angola, IN), saw Norwell's soccer squad hold off Angola by a score of 2-1.
The Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves come into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Bellmont was tipped by Columbia City (Columbia City, IN), 1-0, in a league test.
The Hornets now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington North for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11.
