The Chesterton Trojans soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies to 2 in the Trojans non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Trojans face the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a contest, on Wednesday, September 3. Chesterton will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 10-0 league win over La Porte (La Porte, IN).
The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Cougars go into the challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, New Prairie was nudged by Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
