The Palmer Ridge Bears softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Arapahoe Warriors to 1 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.
The Bears now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Discovery Canyon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. Palmer Ridge will meet a Thunder squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 0-2.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Castle View (Castle Rock, CO). The Sabercats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Castle View overcame Denver East (Denver, CO), 24-2, in a non-league battle.
