In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Marian Catholic Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 win over the ACERO Garcia Patriots.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their outing against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Rich Township edged Tinley Park (Tinley Park, IL), 4-2, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Victoria Soto for a Chicago Public Premier South test on Wednesday, September 3. ACERO Garcia will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Chicago Hope Academy (Chicago, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 2-1.
