Missouri High School Soccer - Central knocks off Freeburg

Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO) and the visiting Freeburg Midgets (Freeburg, IL), saw Central's soccer squad prevail over Freeburg by a count of 4-0.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Carbondale (Carbondale, IL). The Terriers enter the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Carbondale nipped Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL), 5-1, in a league match.
The Midgets now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Waterloo for a non-league match on Wednesday, September 3. Freeburg will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Granite City (Granite City, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
