Chesterton Trojans (Chesterton, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies (South Bend, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Chesterton moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Valparaiso (Valparaiso, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a Duneland outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 5-0. Valparaiso won 6-0 in their recent non-league outing against Highland (Highland, IN)

Next up, the Huskies confront the New Prairie Cougars (New Carlisle, IN) in a Northern Indiana Soccer Conf outing, on Wednesday, September 3. South Bend Saint Joseph will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 3-2 record after their 6-2 non-league win over New Buffalo (New Buffalo, MI).
