Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Haverford School Fords (Haverford, PA) and the host Downingtown East Cougars (Exton, PA), saw Haverford School's soccer squad hold off Downingtown East by a count of 2-1.

The Fords (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Shipley (Bryn Mawr, PA). The enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Shipley tipped Bishop Shanahan (Downingtown, PA), 5-1, in a non-league match.
