The Griffith Panthers soccer squad (Griffith, IN), was edged 3-2 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Portage Indians (Portage, IN)

The Indians (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Crown Point (Crown Point, IN). The Bulldogs enter the Duneland battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Crown Point was edged by North Central (Indianapolis, IN), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
