Iroquois Braves (Erie, PA) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the host West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA), 1-0 in a non-league outing.

The Braves (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Titusville (Titusville, PA). The Rockets go into the District 10 Region 4 outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Titusville got by Eisenhower (Russell, PA), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Big Reds confront the Sharon Tigers (Sharon, PA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, September 3. West Middlesex will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to North East (North East, PA).
