Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Pottsville knocks off Lehighton

In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Pottsville Crimson Tide soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 win over the Lehighton Indians.
The Crimson Tide (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals enter the Schuylkill County 1 test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Pine Grove nipped Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA), 11-0, in a league test.
The Indians now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Salisbury Township for a Colonial test on Thursday, September 4. Lehighton will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Saucon Valley (Hellertown, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-4.
