In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Roanoke-Benson/Eureka Rockets soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Stillman Valley Cardinals.
The Rockets (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 0-3 record. In their last outing, Princeton was overwhelmed by Hinckley-Big Rock (Hinckley, IL), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cardinals confront the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) in a Big Northern outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Stillman Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Indians go into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to North Boone (Poplar Grove, IL).
