Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Valley View knocks off Wyoming Area

The Valley View Cougars soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Wyoming Area Warriors to 2 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.
The Cougars now possess a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scranton for a Lackawanna - Division I game on Tuesday, September 2. Valley View will face a Knights team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Mid Valley (Throop, PA). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA). The Blue Knights come into the Wyoming Valley 3 game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Wyoming Seminary College Prep edged Old Forge (Old Forge, PA), 5-0, in a non-league game.
