Colorado High School Softball - Wheat Ridge bounces Alameda

The Wheat Ridge Farmers softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Alameda Pirates to 0 in the Farmers non-league win on Saturday.
The Farmers now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 3. Wheat Ridge will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 15-14 non-league loss to Kennedy (Denver, CO). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-1.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Aurora Central (Aurora, CO). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Aurora Central was routed by Centaurus (Lafayette, CO), 24-4, in a non-league outing.
