Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting St. Cecilia Bluehawks (Hastings, NE), 5-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Douglas County West improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Falcon host Ralston (Ralston, NE) to battle the Rams in a non-league match on Saturday, August 30. The Rams go into the match with a record of 4-1. Ralston won 8-3 in their recent non-league match against Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE)

In their next game, the Bluehawks battle the Ralston Rams (Ralston, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 30. St. Cecilia will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Plattsmouth (Plattsmouth, NE).
