The Apollo Eagles volleyball squad (Owensboro, KY), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY)

With the win, Adair County improves its record to 8-0 on the season. The Indians host Marion County (Lebanon, KY) to encounter the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Marion County won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington County (Springfield, KY)

Next, the Eagles meet the Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY) in a District 9 test, on Thursday, September 4. Apollo will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Red Devils go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Green County (Greensburg, KY).
