The Palestine Wildcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Alief Taylor Lions to 1 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wildcats now have a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dawson for a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. Palestine will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to McMullen County (Tilden, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-12.

With the loss, Alief Taylor drops to 4-17 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Goose Creek Memorial (Baytown, TX) to play the Patriots in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 3. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 12-10. Goose Creek Memorial lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Gateway College Preparatory (Georgetown, TX)
