Texas High School Volleyball - Alvarado can't hold off Granger

In Saturday's non-league match, the Granger Lions (Granger, TX) volleyball squad got by the visiting Alvarado Indians (Alvarado, TX), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Granger improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Lions host Bremond (Bremond, TX) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Bremond lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX)

The Indians now own a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jacksboro for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Alvarado will battle a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-6.
