In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Andrean Fighting 59ers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Pioneer Panthers.

The Fighting 59ers (3-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Lafayette Central Catholic was nudged by Benton Central (Oxford, IN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN).
