The Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears volleyball squad (Algona, IA), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA)

The Falcons (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Lutheran (Cedar Falls, IA). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Valley Lutheran was beaten by Postville (Postville, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Bears face the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) in a Top of Iowa West test, on Thursday, September 4. Bishop Garrigan will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record.
