Ohio High School Volleyball - Archbishop Hoban can't hold off Avon

In Saturday's non-league match, the Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH), by a final score of 2-1.

Coming up next, the Eagles clash with the Steele Comets (Amherst, OH) in a Southwestern match, on Thursday, September 4. Avon will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Comets go into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH).

The Knights now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olmsted Falls for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2.
