Texas High School Volleyball - Itasca Axtell

Axtell Longhorns (Axtell, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Axtell improves its record to 8-12 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-12.

The Wampus Cats now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Covington for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. Itasca will meet a Owls team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Meridian (Meridian, TX). The Owls record now stands at 6-8.
