The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, IA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Marion was nudged by Regina (Iowa City, IA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bombers play the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 2. Ballard will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 3-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Grinnell (Grinnell, IA).
